HOW DO I LEASE A SPACE AT THE STANDARD FOR FALL?

To lease a space at The Standard’s website, www.TheStandardAtKnoxville.com, and click the “Apply Now” button on our homepage or “Online Leasing” on our Leasing tab. Please call our office or stop by our Leasing Office if you have any questions regarding our online leasing process.

HOW LONG IS THE LEASE AGREEMENT?

Leases at The Standard will begin in mid-August and will terminate in late July. Payments are broken into 12 equal installments.

HOW MANY BEDROOMS ARE OFFERED AT THE STANDARD?

The Standard offers 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 bedroom apartments. All floor plans feature private bedrooms and private bathrooms.

WHAT KIND OF AMENITIES DOES THE STANDARD OFFER?

The Standard features numerous amenities including fitness facilities, a coffee lounge & café, a clubroom, and a computer lounge with group study area, all within walking distance of campus.

HOW FAR IS THE STANDARD FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE?

The Standard is located adjacent to campus at the corner of 17th Street and Cumberland Avenue.

DOES THE STANDARD COME WITH APPLIANCES?

The Standard features stainless appliances including an oven w/ range, microwave, refrigerator and dish washer. Additionally, each unit will have a washer and dryer.

DO THE UNITS INCLUDE FURNITURE?

Yes, units at The Standard are fully furnished including a sofa, coffee table & end table, entertainment stand, seating for dining and each bedroom features a bed & bed frame, a desk and desk chair, a night stand, and a dresser.

IS PARKING OFFERED?

Yes, surface and garage parking at The Standard is offered for an additional fee.

WHAT TYPE OF ON-SITE SECURITY FEATURES WILL BE AT THE STANDARD?

The Standard features a gated and camera-monitored entrance. For our tenants’ convenience, The Standard also issues electronic key fobs to each resident, which allow for a keying system similar to a hotel’s in which each resident has one key that can be used to access his or her unit as well as community amenities like the resident center and pool.

The Standard also features on-site management and maintenance staff.

Maintenance persons are given keys that are programmed to work only during certain hours ensuring that no one other than the residents has a er-hours access to the units, and preventing the keys from being copied. Management can also check the time log to confirm that repairs were completed during the allotted time with the keys.

WHEN IS RENT DUE?

Rent is due on the 1st of every month and is late after 5 p.m. on the 5th. You can bring your rent check by the on-site management office or pay online.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN RENT?

Rent at The Standard includes furniture, high-speed internet, cable TV w/ HBO, pest control, and access to The Standard’s amenities.
