The Standard Delayed Past Sept. 17

To our residents,

We are deeply sorry to let you know that no residents will be able to move in at The Standard on September 17, as previously anticipated based on construction projections. We understand the frustrations and inconveniences this has caused, and we’re committed to making it right with you, your parents, our Knoxville neighbors and our apartment ambassadors:

  1. – In the event that the apartments are not ready for move-in by Oct. 12, you will be given the option to terminate your housing contract at no penalty or cost. We are hopeful, however, that they will be ready before this date.
  2. – You will continue to receive temporary housing accommodations and weekly VISA gift cards, which will now be delivered directly to your hotel.
  3. – In addition to the one-month installment-payment credit we have already guaranteed, moving forward you will not be required to pay installment payments until your unit is move-in ready.
  4. – Once you do move in, you will receive a 25% discount on your monthly installment payments until all amenities are completed. This is in addition to any installment-payment credits you have already accumulated as a result of the delays.

With these delays, we have fallen short. And for that, we sincerely apologize.
